Questions & Answers
This page is an opportunity for me to share with you some information that customers have requested from me over time.
By providing this information, I hope to offer further insight into my creative process and products.
If you still have a question to ask after reading, then do get in touch by using the 'let's chat' button on the bottom right of the page.
1. Question:
What is your favourite essential oil and why?
Answer:
I do love lavender as this is the special plant that started my essential oil journey all those years ago when I was a teenager.
At the moment I am also very fond of Geranium and Clary Sage for their hormonal support.
2. Question:
Are they (wax melts) all natural and medical medium friendly?
Answer:
All my handmade products are made from home grown plants, grown to my organic regime.
All my oils are essential oils and I only use sustainable, biodegradable *soya wax.

*With the exception of the free tea light that is provided with all
oil / melt burners.
3. Question:
Why are some of the wax melt boxes different prices.
Answer:
All my hand made essential oil wax melt boxes are priced and regulated by me.
Each price reflects the cost of all ingredients and workmanship.
For example, some oils are more expensive than others, while some weigh heavier than others, meaning I receive less
of one oil compared to another.
I try very much to keep my prices reflective of the work and ingredients that goes into each blend.
So a box that has a variety of different blends will be priced a little higher than those of the same ingredients. Additionally, more expensive oils or special small batches (such as stand alone subscription boxes) will be higher in price due to ingredients and special curation. This is why the subscription service is so cost affective for customers.
4. Question:
Are the melts pet friendly ?
Answer:
It's not a straight forward answer but do bare with me if you will....
I have customers who buy my essential oil handmade melts especially because of their pets.
However, as you will know,
no two pets are the same.
My recommendation is to always try a little first.
So not one whole melt, but rather cut off a small piece and try that first. (This would be my suggestion for any melt, diffusers etc no matter who makes them).
I would also suggest trying a soothing aroma first, such as pure lavender and always keep tea lights , candles and oil burners out of the reach of pets.

If you are ever in any doubt talk to your vet and show them the C.L.P (safety label) that comes with any candle wax melt.
This is a legal obligation and should be provided by all makers.
5. Question:
Where do you get your inspiration from for all your blends.
Answer: My ideas and inspiration come very much from my life interests. I love to garden and particular enjoy growing and researching properties of herbs and plants. I also am fascinated by folk lore and original German and European fairy tales, which often give me inspiration to develop my monthly subscription boxes.
6. Question:
Can I use a wax melt more than once?
Answer: I can only talk here about my own handmade essential oil wax melts.
My melts have the most aroma and essential oil release in their first melt.
After this time, I would suggest only one more melt at the very most. To continue melting again and again means the additional ingredients (herbs /petals etc) will blacken and may dis colour the wax. Also by the 2nd melt all the goodness of the essential oil will have evaporated.
