My ingredients and working practices........

Every step of my design and making process, from initially researching ideas for themes, to curating essential oil blends and finally moulding and packing the aromatic melts, is performed by me.

Taking care and time is part of my business philosophy.

Each essential oil product is to my exacting standards of oil quantity and clean botanical ingredients, which I grow and source myself.

I’m proud to say I know the journey and origin of every ingredient, botanical and piece of packaging used in my products.

Where I buy in ingredients (e.g. biodegradable soya wax, I research and source products from happy suppliers who have good ethical standards).

I only use home grown flowers, botanicals and herbs from my family garden, and when using fruit peels these are always organic and dried by me at home.

Essential Oils

The essential oils I use, are purchased from happy suppliers who care about our environment and sustainability.  As with any product, it is very important for makers to provide you with care and safety information.  While my products are pure and natural, I do offer further information on the use of essential oils for your benefit and education.  CLP's and safety information comes as standard with all your products.

Herbs and Flowers

Herbs and flowers used:

All the herbs and flowers used within my products are grown in my family's garden, using natural planting, feeding and sustainable techniques.  All my fruit peels are taken from organic fruit grown with sustainability in mind.  If I use up my supply of a flower or herb leaf due to its growth cycle or seasonal time of year, then rather than buy in from an external source, I substitute for an alternative, complimentary botanical.  You will always be notified of any changes should this happen, but given the quantity I grow, this is a rare occurrence!

Individuality

As all my products are handmade by me, each item will vary slightly in appearance.

This is because no two petals, fruit peel or herbs look identical.

However, you can be certain that each batch is made to my exacting standards in ingredient measurements, quality and attention to detail.

Soya Wax

Benefits of soy wax

Soy wax is derived from a vegetables, (soy beans)

Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource.

Soy wax is biodegradable and therefore the wax when hardened and used completely can be scrapped away from your wax melt burner bowl and thrown away. Your wax melt burner can then be cleaned with soap and water, ready for your next Bettyrose Creations wax melt aroma .

Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and because of this, soy melts will last longer than paraffin melts.

Soy wax burns / melts with zero petrol soot, creating petrol soot free melts.
