Bettyrose Creations, time to calm, unwind and find inner peace and breathing exercise to slow down.

In this blog:

Do you ever need to take a breath and tell yourself - calm?
This for me is a weekly (if not daily challenge). Life in all its different variants throws continuous challenges at us. That is what, in many ways offers life's opportunities for creativity, positive change and learning.
However, it's good to face new and old challenges with a sense of wellbeing.
Looking after ourselves is often a key to unlocking answers, finding solutions and lets face it, just being able to cope.
As I write this blog Im recovering from a three day migraine episode. Horrible but something that Im glad to say is not so much of a regular occurrence any more. They haven’t completely gone but mostly, if I listen to my body and look after it with exercise, nutrition and meditation then generally I have more days without migraine that those with.
Looking after ourselves and slowing down or perhaps I should say 'telling ourselves to slow down', is the key I find to most problems.
Using a ritual and essential oil can really help us to do just this.
I created the collection: Calm Those Anxious Times to enable myself and you to have aromas that support and help you to move forward in a relaxed and slow paced manner.
Now to be real, one essential oil wax melt is not going to solve an argument, suddenly make you mindful, pass an exam for you or stop any possible pre - jitter wedding nerves. What it can do though, is offer an opportunity of ritual.
Lighting a tea light, opening an handmade essential oil wax melt and placing it onto an oil burner bowl helps you to slow down - theres no rushing this action. The slow deliberate movement of the melt and then, in turn its change into amber liquid, unfurling its natural healing aromas may be just what you need to be still in the moment.
Allowing the pure botanical essential oils to stimulate your olfactory sense can be a delight. You can even do some deep breathing too, while thinking about moving forward with your challenges.
As a lovely customer and VIP I would like to offer you 10% off all purchases of Calm Those Anxious Times. To use this short term offer, just type in code: CALM10 when checking out your purchase of this collection. Offer available until 15th June 2023.

Deep breathing exercises for you to try.
Begin by placing a flower / herb in your hand and just take a moment to study its creation and beauty.
Take a breath to acknowledge the simple action the flower is giving you to create a calm, comforting presence to yourself. See it as an act of a flower hug to your heart.
Now consciously begin to breathe more slowly and more gently. I find for me counting how long your in breath is then how long your out breath really helps but if you prefer no to do this that fine too. All the time gently focus your attention on the flower.
Now as you breathe, try to allow the breath to increase more deeply, taking in a little more air if possible, then allow slowly the breath to be released.
You may want to do this for a few minutes and increase the time each day. Alternatively you could try to do it every time you have a regular action, e.g. every time you make a cup of tea. For example every time the kettle boils, use this time to deep breath and look out of a window.
If you would like to add a lovely essential oil wax melt to your deep breathing ritual, I would recommend the following from my collections:
The Clean Green Essential Oil Machine

Lavender Peppermint & Hyssop

Lime, Cedarwood & Whitesage

So, its been a busy time in the garden. At this point now for me and my business its all about feeding plants (naturally of course), introducing new babies to the flower beds and cutting and harvesting early blooms.
Its a process I love, and similar to my mention above of slowing down, its another ritual that can't be rushed, which means I get the opportunity to tune into my breathing and slow it down. Cutting and gathering for a small business has to be done carefully and repetitively so that your end results are good and useable in products. So again cutting , drying and storing are my go to for slowing down and taking one step at a time.
Here are some lovely current goodies that our garden is producing for your essential oil benefits this year.

and finally, I thought I would put a spot light on the 5th Aroma Box for this year.
The Expressing Emotions Collection.
This aroma box is all about supporting and expressing our emotions. Providing an aroma for you to feel safe within and explore your feelings.
Filled with pure essential oils and home grown herbs and flowers, my intention for you with these aromatic blends is to provide you and your home with pure aromatics, hand made and blended by me for anytime but especially for when you want to think, feel and work through emotions.
Your aroma box contains 14 handmade essential oil wax melts consisting of two artisan blended aromas curated and handmade by me.
An awareness of ones own emotions and feelings is important for our everyday lives. When wanting to have lovely aromas in our homes, offices, work rooms etc it is particularly good, to have essential oil aromas that support us and our emotions.
With these two blends I have aimed to provide you with that and with aromas that will just smell fabulous whenever you use them!
Wonderful aroma's at any time, but you may find these particularly good when talking to family and friends.

So let me now wish you a very lovely day and I'll see you next month.

My view while writing this blog. 😁
