One of my favourite influences when creating with aromas is the story of traditional fairy tales.
In particular, I love all things Brothers Grimm and their weird and wonderful collection of original folk tales.

This months Bettyrose Creations VIP Essential Oil Subscription Aroma Box, delves into the traditional folklore story of Snow White and Red Rose.
For those of you who do not know this traditional tale will be forgiven for thinking of Disneys Snow White, but in actual fact this tale has nothing to do with the Disney story. Only the common thread of ‘Snow White’ as a name is the same.
From the brothers Grimm, our tale of Red Rose and Snow White is an old German folk story. Where two beautiful young women, who are named after botanicals in their mothers cottage garden.
One is quiet and shy and likes to read (Snow White) The other is lively and outgoing and loves being outdoors (Red Rose).
This is a traditional story that rewards kindness and demonstrates how sharing through the seasons can help us all to be closer to nature.
